WIFE CARRYING CHAMPIONSHIP

Finnish myth tells the legend of Ronkainen the Robber, a viking outlaw who would raid villages with his band of thieves and steal all the wives. Today, in homage to this legend, the people of Finland have developed a competition, where contestants carry their own wives (or steal someone else's) race through obstacles in order to win the wive's weight in beer. This poster references the sport through visual metaphors.
